Recently Ben was asked why he likes working with black and white images. Here’s what he had to say:

“Without the color I can more clearly focus on the formal elements of image making such as rhythm, texture and space.”

“Occasionally I’ll see a color image that totally seduces me. What can I do, I’m helpless. I’m just telling it like it is.”
